Effective monitoring in the interest of observing the provisions of the Endangered Species Protection Act

An expert advisory board monitors and updates the registration and identification system by collaborating with representatives of the competent federal and state authorities (Environmental Conservation State Working Group – LANa).

The endangered species protection tag has been recognized since December 1, 1987 as proof of origin by federal and state nature conservation authorities as an alternative to the CITES certification for goods that fully comply with species protection laws.
